From Heartbreak to Healing: The Story Behind Pannatural Pets
Pannatural Pets was born from love, loss, and an unwavering commitment to keeping pets healthy—naturally.
It all started with Mickey, our beloved dog who was more than just a pet; he was family. His tail-wagging greetings, the way he’d nuzzle in for cuddles, his unconditional love… he filled our lives with so much joy.
And then… heartbreak.
Cancer changed everything.
When Mickey fell ill and passed away, our hearts shattered. And I couldn’t help but wonder – could we have done more to protect him? That question changed everything.
You see, when I immigrated to South Africa, my initial dream was to create a natural beauty line for humans.
But when Mickey got sick, my focus shifted.
What if I could create something that helped animals live longer, healthier lives?
That one thought planted a seed — and from that, Pannatural Pets began to grow.
So, I got to work — mixing, blending, researching, and testing (only on willing, waggy volunteers, of course!). Mickey’s pups became my in-house product testers, and our garage became a mini pet-care lab.
Weekends were for flea markets — just me, my gazebo, and a table full of lovingly handmade products.
And guess what? Pet parents couldn’t get enough!
Pet shops started calling. Groomers followed.
The garage got too small.
And before I knew it… we needed a full warehouse!
Today, Pannatural Pets is proud to offer gentle, natural, plant-powered care products for pets all over South Africa (and beyond).
And through it all, Mickey’s legacy lives on.
